Poptropica is an online role-playing game, developed in 2007 by Pearson Education's Family Education Network, and targeted towards children aged 6 to 15. Poptropica was primarily the creation of Jeff Kinney, the author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Based on a concept by Wimpy Kid author Jeff Kinney comes Poptropica, a brand-new graphic novel adventure series by Jack Chabert and Kory Merritt. In 'Mystery of the Map,' Oliver, Mya, and Jorge take a ride in a hot-air balloon, only to crash-land on an unknown island filled with extinct animals and a horde of angry Vikings. From here, you can read every single page of the Poptropica Graphic Novels that are published online, such as Mystery of the Map. Why would you use this instead of the official reader, you ask? Because this one has much more convenient controls and you can see pages that are hidden (for example, because they're not released yet).
