Mythology Island is Poptropica’s 12th island. It was released on April 1, 2010 for members and April 29, 2010 for non-members. It was re-released as a SUI (sound-updated island) with music and a bigger screen on April 25, 2014 for members and May 3, 2014 for everyone.
In the Mythology Island, you will get into a Museum of Olympus. For your information, Mythology Island is the land of the Greek gods and goddesses. When you are in the museum, you have to go right and then you will see that a little cutscene plays and it introduces the feud between the main gods including Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. If it has done playing, you have to keep going right until you are able to find the area with the statues. After that, you need to find Poseidon’s statue and take the pink Starfish off of it. Now, you are able to leave the museum and walk left to the sign “Tree of Immortality”.
There, you will climb up the stone steps and reach an area where you are able to go up to a big tree.You have to keep going until you discover a satyr which is a half-human, half-goat. In the top right corner of the bug tree, you will be waited by him. What does he doe? The satyr will tell you that nymphs have stolen his honey and the honey has been hidden around the tree. There are 100 seconds for you to race around the tree and retrieve 10 posts of honey for him. If you have done that, talk to the satyr again and then you will be informed about new secret path by him. Now, you have to climb upon on it and then get to the tip of the branch with a golden fruit hanging on it. What should we do with the fruit? You have to pick it, jump down and then grab the Golden Apple. What is Golden Apple? It is the fruit of the gods.
The Greek god Zeus will descend and speak to you. He will offer you immortality in exchange for five sacred items. After that, you will see a scroll which will come up in his place when he leaves. Now, you have to reach for the Sacred Items Scroll and then examine it. It must be done to discover what you need to collect for Zeus. After that, leave the tree and then go right. The goddess Athena will be waiting for you.
